INTERVIEW WITH GREATER GOOD RADIO
Here’s a recent interview I did with Jay-R Patron of Greater Good Radio out of Hawaii. From how I ended up living in the Philippines, to the ups and downs of daily life in this crazy and never dull country, to working as a journalist in one of the world’s notoriously dangerous spots, Jay-R managed to coax some interesting answers from me.
SITTING ON A GOLDMINE
After being viciously raped and impregnated by an uncle in the Northern Philippines, teenager Josie Gonzales is taken to Manila by her mother out of embarrassment and for an abortion, and eventually ends up as a “working girl.” After several negative experiences, she is determined to better her life with college and earn a law degree to help those less fortunate than herself.
