WOMEN’S WORLD 10 BALL FEATURE IN THIS MONTH’S BILLIARDS DIGEST
Tiny Rubilen Amit’s incredible victory in the first ever Women’s World 10-Ball Championship back in June surprised the pool world and put the friendly Filipina up there with the likes of Efren Reyes, Alex Pagulayan, and Ronnie Alcano. I covered the tournament for Billiards Digest magazine, the leading pool magazine in the US, and the feature story I wrote just came out in the August issue of the magazine. And now it’s yours to read, absolutely free.

INPUT DOES NOT ALWAYS EQUAL OUTPUT
World reknowned Dutch pool star Alex Lely’s rambling letters reveal a startling universal truth. What you put into an endeavor does not always equal that which comes out. Sometimes in life, you simply have to stop giving a rip. by TED LERNER
A BEER, A DATE, A BET AND THE ‘AMERICAN’ GAME OF POOL
In a seedy provincial Philippine town reminiscent of the American Wild West, the American game of pool took hold, thanks to a giant American Air Force base next door, GI’s with plenty of idle time and a local hero who became the greatest player to ever hold a cue stick. –by TED LERNER
